We have now reached the final stages of this long organizational phase to try to make your participation in the ITTF Rome 2024 World Masters Table Tennis Championships presented by Stag Global<\/em><\/strong> “special”!<\/em><\/p>\n

Below is the current news:<\/p>\n

1) \u00a0We are pleased to inform you that the Municipality of Rome,<\/strong> which is one of the institutional bodies that supports our event, has authorized free entry to the Roma Capitale<\/em> Museum System from 7 to 14 July<\/strong> for all regularly accredited participants. To access you will only need to show your accreditation.<\/p>\n

The Museum System of Roma Capitale<\/em><\/strong> is made up of an extremely diversified set of museums and archaeological sites of undoubted artistic and historical value. Together with the Capitoline Museums<\/em><\/strong>, the oldest public museum in the world, the Ara Pacis Museum<\/em><\/strong>, designed by Richard Meier and home to important exhibitions, but also the Trajan’s Markets<\/em><\/strong> and the Museum of Rome at Palazzo Braschi<\/em><\/strong> are part of the System.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em>2) As usual we are preparing the official brochure of the Championships<\/strong>, a document which, in addition to institutional greetings and general information, will collect the names of all the athletes participating in the event who will thus be able to say “I was there!”.<\/em> However, consistently with the environmental, economic, and social sustainability<\/strong> policies adopted since its establishment by the Organizing Committee in line with the objectives of the UN Agenda 2030 and in agreement with the International Table Tennis Federation, it has been decided that the brochure will not be printed in paper format<\/strong> (it would be necessary to print over 500,000 pages!) but created in digital format to then be sent via email to all registered athletes.<\/strong> We are firmly convinced, in fact, that help for the preservation of the environment must come from each of us!!<\/p>\n

3) \u00a0We remind you that June 15th is the last date to register your companions<\/strong> for the event using the link https:\/\/www.ttm.co.at\/wmc2024\/shop\/shops\/wizard\/people<\/a> and that, after that date, it will be possible to access the Fair only through the purchase of daily tickets which can be purchased on the link https:\/\/rome2024.org\/biglietteria\/<\/a><\/p>\n

4) \u00a0I hope you will be happy to know that the traditional Farewell Party at the end of the event<\/strong>, scheduled for the evening of Saturday 13 July<\/strong>, during which all participants will be able to spend an evening full of fun and friendship enlivened by good music and good food\/drink, will have free entry<\/strong> and will take place outdoors, directly in the Fan Village<\/strong> that we will set up inside the Rome Fair.<\/p>\n

5) \u00a0Finally, I am happy to inform you that the Rome 2024 ITTF <\/strong>World Master Table Tennis Championships <\/strong>have received an honorary recognition from our President of the Republic,<\/strong> Sergio Mattarella, who awarded us the Representation Medal<\/em><\/strong>, a recognition that is attributed by the President to initiatives considered to be of particular cultural, scientific, artistic, sporting, or social interest.<\/p>\n

I also remind you that:<\/p>\n

1)\u00a0\u00a0to make your trip to Rome safer, a specific Insurance Program<\/strong> has been activated designed for participants and their companions.<\/p>\n

The details of the insurance products can be consulted at the following link Polizza assicurazione \u2013 WMC 2024 (rome2024.org)<\/a> but it is confirmed in any case that the cost of insurance coverage is as follows:<\/p>\n

– Accidents<\/strong>: \u20ac20 per person<\/em><\/p>\n

– Assistance and reimbursement of medical expenses<\/strong>: \u20ac50 per person<\/em><\/p>\n

The policies cover the entire period from 3 July to 17 July<\/strong> both for the risk relating to competitions and that relating to free time spent in Rome.<\/p>\n

2) \u00a0the official merchandising line – Rome 2024<\/em><\/strong> created for the event by our partner WINNER ITALIA<\/strong>, which will be present with a stand for the entire duration of the event, can be purchased now on the website https:\/\/memorableshop.it\/en\/merchandising\/eventi\/fitet.html<\/a> In this case the material will be delivered to you directly at the time of your accreditation at the Fair.<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. remember that at the time of accreditation you will have to present the passport that demonstrates possession of the nationality declared at the time of registration<\/strong> (if you need to change your association please send a request)<\/li>\n
  2. don’t delay<\/strong> in organizing your trip to Rome, hotel places are running out!
