today is an important day for all of us on the organising staff! As of today, in fact, the real countdown to the start of Rome 2024 begins. One year, 365 days till the OPENING CEREMONY, to make the 2024 ITTF World Masters Table Tennis Championships an event to remember forever!
The sense we perceive, from the numerous requests to participate that come in from all corners of the world, is one of great enthusiasm and desire to be there that will allow us, in a few days, to celebrate a new incredible goal in less than 1 month from the opening of registration, that of 2000 registered athletes.
As you know, we have set the registration limit at 5000 athletes, so if you and/or your friends haven’t already done so, don’t delay too long in signing up to avoid missing the opportunity to be a protagonist in Rome 2024 as well.
From today, moreover, it is possible to consult the list of all the athletes already registered on the website (WMC2024 Rome Online Registration Pages (ttm.co.at), which will allow you to check whether your friends have already registered (and in case, to solicit them) and to check who are the free athletes for whom you can request a pairing in doubles events.
I would also like to remind you that our Hospitality Partner, I VIAGGI DEL PERIGEO, has published on its website all the rates of the hotels selected for the event, located both near the competition venue and closer to the city centre (more will be added shortly).
The rates include the hotel-competition venue-hotel shuttle service and all the benefits provided by the “service card”.
Requests for hotel touristic services can be made by both groups and individuals by writing to roma2024@iviaggidelperigeo.it However, the possibility of completing the hotel booking process directly on the site will soon be available.
Finally, I would like to remind those who want to experience the event as VIP guests that it is also possible to purchase the VIP Package (additional to the registration as an athlete and/or accompanying person) directly on the registration site, which includes a series of services.
