as you might have seen from the link https://www.ttm.co.at/wmc2024/participants , which can be consulted at any time on www.rome2024.org , we have now already reached over 2,500 athletes registered for the next ITTF World Masters Table Tennis Championships – Rome 2024, a result achieved in less than a month from the registrations’ start!!
This means that half of the available places (5,000) have already been taken and, therefore, if you or some of your friends have not yet registered, my advice is not to delay too much, so to avoid losing the opportunity to be with us next year.
I’m also happy to share with you some updates and new information on the event’s organization.
From today you will be able to find on the website two important maps.
The first one (https://rome2024.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/MAPPA-DI-ROMA.pdf ), is the Official Tourist Map of Rome with indications of the most important places of interest and museums of the city and with the description of 3 different Touristic itineraries, just to start getting familiar with our beautiful capital.
The second one, for the benefit of those who intend to move in Rome by public transport, (https://rome2024.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/METRO-FERROVIE-TRAM_ROMA.pdf ) is the map of all on-rail transport in the city (metro, urban and regional trains, trams). You can find it in the “Moving Around Rome” section of the website. On the map it is highlighted the train station at the Fiera di Roma, where the event will take place. If, on the other hand, you intend to use a shuttle service to reach the venue every day of the event to experience the Tournament without any worries, I remind you that, after a few initial problems, all the information, complete with costs, is now available on the site. The booking of hotel services at the hotels closest to the competition venue (in any case within walking distance), rates including the shuttle service and the issue of our “Service Card”.
