in exactly 100 days the ITTF World Table Tennis Masters Championships – Rome 2024 presented by Stag Global will be inaugurated with an opening ceremony that will be a hymn to joy, friendship and sharing between the peoples of all 5 continents! For the occasion, we are preparing a big show that, we are sure, will remain in your memory for a long time!
With this newsletter I want both to remind you of some important things and to share some relevant news concerning the organization.
As you already know, the tournament will take place on a new table, produced by our Title Sponsor STAG GLOBAL, which has already been approved by the ITTF and whose name will be linked forever to the largest event ever organized in the history of our sport: ROME 24! Regarding the Gala Dinner, which, as you know, is for a restricted number of participants and we are organizing it for the evening of Wednesday 10 July (day free from competitions) starting from 8.00 pm in a particularly « iconic » and exclusive place, many slots have already been booked by those who didn’t want to miss the opportunity to dine immersed in the « history » of Rome in a location, usually closed to the public, with a breathtaking view!! I remind you that we have started selling daily tickets for visitors who intend to attend the event only on certain days on this website. Don’t forget, however, that daily tickets are not available for July 7, the day of the opening ceremony, which only those accredited as players or accompanying will be able to attend. Therefore, if you want your friends/relatives to always be able to attend (including the opening ceremony), register them as companions by clicking on this link.
And now we come to the news!
– On the same evening of the day free from competitions, Wednesday 10 July, we have planned to organize in Piazza del Campidoglio, one of the most picturesque squares in the city, a flash mobe. a gathering with all the participants who wish to be present for the purpose to immortalize your presence in the “eternal city” and at the event with a series of photos and video content that will be filmed from above. It will be, therefore, an opportunity to tell the whole world, through our communication and your shares: « Rome 2024? I’m here!« . The appointment for all participants will be at 6.30 pm directly in Piazza del Campidoglio, next to which there is also the Terrace and the Protomoteca Rooms, where the gala dinner will take place. We will keep you updated on the initiative.
– The provisional schedule for the first 2 days of competitions (July 8th and 9th) has been published on the Rome 2024 website, through which you can immediately find out the starting times of the various groups. Obviously, the schedule must still be considered provisional and it could undergo some changes in the coming months. To view the schedule click on this link
There are still few places available for the Table Tennis X (TTX) promotional tournament which will take place at the competition venue on the afternoon of July 10th. For more information on the TTX I invite you to consult the corresponding page of the website from which it will also be possible to download the rules of the game and the tournament.
I remind you that the participation fee includes the delivery of a racket (as shown in the image) which will remain your property at the end of the tournament. Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 finishers.

- remember that at the time of accreditation you will have to present the passport that demonstrates possession of the nationality declared at the time of registration (if you need to change your association please send a request)
- don’t delay in organizing your trip to Rome, hotel places are running out!
